Let’s face it–we’re suckers for a good “girl kicking ass” story. From the vamp-staking Buffy Summers to the jackal-scratching Chloe King, we know a great heroine’s tale when we see one. Perhaps that’s why we’re also huge fans of The Hunger Games. After all, Katniss Everdeen is another strong, courageous girl with lots of heart!
So what exactly does the Hungers Games series have to do with The Nine Lives of Chloe King? Two words: Benjamin Stone. The Chloe King hottie is continually being nominated for the role of Finnick Odair in Catching Fire (the sequel to The Hunger Games). Finnick Odair is strong, handsome, and totally cheeky–in a nutshell, he’s essentially Alek Petrov!
Both Chloe King and Hunger Games fans are on board with this potential casting decision, and they have been tweeting/facebooking/blogging about it. It’s big-time buzz and we are crossing our fingers that Ben gets to show off his talents and super cute accent on the big screen!

no. finnick is a complex character—the actor who portrays him needs to show great range. yeah the dude is attractive, but i hope casting people don’t bow to the hormones of the young fanbase that watch this show. i want the best possible person to play finnick, not some guy being cross promoted by a newer show trying to bump up their ratings by riding the back of the hunger games.

I think he would be a good person to play Finnick. He is good at playing Alek who is very cocky, good looking and persuasive which is just like Finnick. Also both Alek and Finnick have a sensitive side. So if Ben is good at playing Alek than he should be good at playing Finnick. That is just my opinion. Feel free to disagree.

I actually thought that he would be the perfect person to play Finnick in Hunger Games way before anyone suggested it. I’m glad that now everyone thinks so too. Finnick was my absolute favorite character in the series. It’s a shame that he had such a tragic end…
I personally think he’s be a great Finnick, I read the books and when I saw that someone suggested him I could totally see him portraying that character. Finnick is a very complex character and his cockiness is only on the outside to hide his inner pain and I think the same could be said about Alek he’s really cocky and tries to pretend he doesn’t care, but really he acts like that because he cares too much and you can see it in his eyes. So I agree with the statement that Finnick is complex, but I disagree that people want to see him play Finnick just becasue he’s good looking. Finnick is supposed to be very attractive, but I completely believe that Finnick and Alek are very similar in their personalities and the reasons that they have the cocky attitude, their pasts and the hard times in their pasts result in cockiness so they don’t completely break down. Ben Stone would be an awesome Finnick and it’d be another reason I’d be looking forward to the second hunger games movie as much as I’m looking forward to the first one.

obviously like your website however you need to test the spelling on several of your posts. Several of them are rife with spelling issues and I in finding it very troublesome to inform the truth then again I will definitely come again again.

I think Benjamin Stone would be a perfect choice to play Finnick. I read the books and Finnick is supposed to be this really sexy guy that is totally aware of how attractive he is and acts pretty cocky, but deep down he’s a really sweet guy. He’s really gentle with the girl he loves, but his feelings don’t make him weak. He’s willing to fight, and kill, when necessary. From what I can tell, Ben would be perfect for this role because he played Alek very well and Alek had a similar attitude—cocky (obviously), completely in love with Chloe, and willing to die for her. I really hope that they cast him for this role
