Grace Phipps has landed one of the coolest, toughest gigs in Hollywood–playing the best friend of a superhero, who has special cat powers.

Being a superhero’s best bud isn’t easy. You’re constantly looking over your shoulder; paranoia is at an all-time high; you find yourself wishing for some special powers and, yes, jealousy may provoke the occasional, er–cat fight. Still, Grace Phipps, who just graduated from San Antonio’s high school for the performing and visual arts, is totally prepared for the dangers of life as Chloe King‘s bff, Amy.

An interesting tidbit about Grace? She has “celestial secrets engraved in her back.” (We’re not exactly sure what this means, but we like the supernatural sound of it!)

We can’t wait to see Grace in action when The Nine Lives of Chloe King premieres on June 14th at 9/8c on ABC Family!
