Here’s The Nine Lives of Chloe King Finale in 9 Steps:
- The group is out on a triple date and Alek and Chloe share some cute moments in the photo booth. (He kisses her softly on her cheek—talk about a memory to cherish forever!) Paul and Amy are having fun and so is Jasmine. However, Zane is being sketchy and calling up Simone on his cell to inform her that everything is in place. Yikes!
- Despite her date with Brian, Chloe heads out on a road trip with him. However, this trip seems more romantic than platonic and we sense the chemistry between the two. Thankfully though, sparks didn’t fly while they tried to trespass onto his grandmother’s estate and were caught by an angry, dog. (OMG! A cat and dog fight? Not so much…)
- Brian and Chloe spend a glorious afternoon sipping tea and eating pastries with his grandma and Brian gets some answers to his list of endless questions. As it turns out, his father is ambitious to the point of recklessness and Whitley Rezza may have had something to do with Mrs. Rezza’s “mugging” (aka murder). Brian’s grandma invites him back again but the instant that he and Chloe pile into his car and zoom off, nanna’s true colors shine through. Apparently, his grandma is no longer a Betty White sweetheart gal. She’s a cruel, cold bitch who wants to eliminate Chloe and barks orders at her side-kick Simone.
- Chloe returns home and her mom wants to know what the deal is with Alek and Brian. A tearful and nervous Chloe reveals that she’s in love with Brian and wants to make it stop (since she can’t be with her mom). Meredith is naturally full of helpful wisdom and tells her, “You love who you love, kiddo.” Chloe though doesn’t seem at peace with this statement and upon returning to her roo, finds Alek waiting for her. He looks so heartbroken and clearly heard her confession about who she loved. Before she could console him, Alek disappears and Chloe receives a text from her father.
- Zane, like the disloyal Trojan Horse he is, weasels his way into Valentina’s home and kills both Valentina and Jasmine! First, he shoots Valentina with a poisonous dart and then waits until Jasmine comes home. After Jasmine puts up a tough fight, Zane stabs her and plops her bleeding body next to her dying mother. There are no words to effectively express how much rage we feel over Zane’s betrayal to his own people, and for making a mother witness her child’s brutal death and vice versa.
- Alek returns home to find Valentina and Jasmine’s limp bodies on the floor of their apartment and we are suddenly afraid again. Zane’s not done with his serial killer spree. But does he kill Alek too? No way! Zane could never take his own brother’s life. WHAT–they’re related?!
- Chloe’s dad texts her and asks her to meet him at the old trolley they used to visit when she was a kid. However, Brian keeps interfering and, eventually catches Chloe in a lie. She tells him to stay put and to keep himself out of danger. He assures her he will and that he’s going to wait for her outside. Chloe races into the dark, closed building (that ironically features the most beautiful interior, complete with lush, red carpeting, a dazzling chandelier and a sweeping grand staircase that puts the one from ”Gone with the Wind” to shame). She calls out her dad’s name and walks into an upstairs room. DAMN YO! It’s a trip. A couple thugs appear around her and tell her she’s dead meat. They’re total suckas though because what they don’t know is that despite her small stature and friendly smile, Chloe is a super freaky fighter! (You go girl!)
- However, the night’s not over and danger is still lingering about, just biding its time. Chloe successfully escapes the dangerous trap but, then, Simone confronts the Uniter with a revolver in hand and shoots her several times. Chloe then suffers another unbearable death. (Hmm. Notice a pattern here?)
- Brian hears the gunshots and runs inside to Chloe’s rescue. He realizes she’s dead and is destroyed beyond belief. Nevertheless, as Chloe slowly comes back to life, Brian’s so elated that he tells her he loves her and kisses her ever so gently on the lips. But one kiss from a Mai is all it takes and when Amy and Paul enter the building they find Chloe crying with Brian’s body sprawled over legs. OMG OMG OMG!

I don’t watch much TV so I was surprised how much I took to this show. Almost obsessive even – and this is coming from a 30-something professional! The last episode broke my heart in so many ways, including the fact that it was the last with no promise of future episodes. The last episode left too many of us hanging there, and one more episode would help to tie up loose ends.
Meanwhile, how about us fans creating an end of our own? My version of an ending: Chloe and Alek emerge from the massacre and realize they need to leave San Francisco with too many dangers lurking about. Even Chloe takes the plunge to leave her mother to keep her safe. Chloe and Alek flee town to a safe place and begin a new life together – and yes, romantically because their chemistry is amazing. Perhaps Chloe even finds her father in the new place and he takes Chloe and Alek under his wings.
Honestly, you guys? The best part was when he found out Zane was his brother? You wish she would go off with Alyec? No. No. No.
Personally, I feel like the whole brother being Zane and who knows what is just something else added to the pile. Insignificant or not, I have no idea. But concentrate on where they left off! Brian DIED. Dead. Died. Gone. Bit the dust. Na-da. No more Brian.
Uh, hello? Why would the most memorable or whatever part be Zane. That was pretty shocking yes, but Brian gone? She’s in love with Brian. She’s supposed to be with Brian.
I bought the trilogy, but even before that, this was my fantasy: Brian comes back to life. Alyec – the total flirt he is – starts to get feelings for some other girl. The whole human boundary thing is broken and all that fun stuff. And maybe the uniter doesn’t actually kill when she kisses? Maybe its different for her. I mean, hey, she’s supposed to unite the pride and give them peace and all and how can she do that if there is no contact with people? There’s got to be something about that. Or she could bring him back to life with one of her lives? O.o
I just want the show back!

I wish they never canceled this show. I hope that they have a season two or at least an eleventh episode.

i totally think alek and chole should end up 2gether!!!!!! alek is hot and brain is not!!! anyways i never really liked brian!!! here is how it should end. alek and chloe find each other and right be4 zane kills them chloe confesses that she loves alek and then chloe’s dad saves chloe and alek. then alek and chloe get married!!!!!!!!!!!! the end!!!!!!!
I really felt more than shocked and heartbroken about this finale. I have seen this season so many times but I think that we all feel that we need at least one more episode to clear things out! We need to know that Alek is still alive and Chloe has a happily ever after all
the most happiest part was that BRYAN DIED(FINALLY). ALEK AND CHLOE ARE MEANT 2BE WITH EACH OTHER…also the part where the murder told ALEK they were brothers was the cliff hanger4me.
